linen included. The apartments are self-contained
and fully furnished. A cleaner is provided
once a week to service your apartment. You
will be able to keep your room locked for
your own personal security and peace of

be scheduled between training sessions in

Transport
Transport is provided
in a modern air-conditioned bus.
Transport included:
- Pick-up and drop off at Brisbane International
and Domestic Airports
- Transport daily to and from all training
sessions
- Transport daily to and from Mooloolaba
during recreational free time

Training and
Equipment
Your training program
will consist of both morning and afternoon
sessions totalling four hours a day. Every
fourth day is a recreational day for you
to rest and enjoy. Throughout the week the
training will be alternated and varied.
Community Bronze Medallion & Senior
First Aid Certificate
Training Schedule: 6 sessions a week
You will receive
the required 40 hours of comprehensive instruction
to complete the Community Surf Awareness
Course (Bronze Medallion) and Senior First
Aid Certificate. Both of these courses are
delivered by an accredited training instructor
and are accredited by Surf Lifesaving Australia.
Ski
Training Schedule:
3 sessions a week
Training on a racing
ski is always a challenge whether you are
new to this craft or have been paddling
for sometime. You will be using the latest
in ski and paddle technology.
Malibu Board
Training Schedule:
3 sessions a week
Malibu board racing
was originally conceived to help improve
skills when using the board for rescues.
Now it is one of the most exciting spectator
sports at a surf carnival.
Surf Boat
Training Schedule:
2 sessions a week
Surf Boat racing
is one of the oldest events within surf
lifesaving. This craft is one of the most
spectacular and demanding events on the
beach. Always a great crowd pleaser when
the surf is running, it is fast becoming
the premier event at surf carnivals throughout
the world of surf lifesaving.
Ironman
Training Schedule:
1 session a week
The Ironman event
is one of the most demanding events in the
Lifesaving competitor’s calendar.
It is a combination of the surf ski, Malibu
board, running and swimming. You will receive
coaching on how to incorporate all these
disciplines for an Ironman event.
Run &
Gym
Training Schedule:
sessions a week
Assisting to provide
you with all round fitness and strength
you will train with a fitness and conditioning
coach while running alongside some of Australia’s
most beautiful beaches. The gym is of a
professional and modern standard within
the Mooloolaba Surf Club.
Attractions

Mooloolaba Esplanade
This beautiful strip
of shops and restaurants is a great place
to spend time watching the world go by.
Fraser Island
World Heritage Listed
Fraser Island is the world’s largest
sand island featuring 144km of coastline.
Part of Queensland’s natural and cultural
heritage and home to over 200 species of
birds and a variety of wildlife. Spectacular
sand dunes, rainforests, freshwater lakes
and creeks.
Hinterland
The scenic Sunshine
Coast Hinterland lies inland of the coast
and is made up of the Blackall Range and
several national parks. You will find picturesque
townships, wineries and endless views.
Brisbane
Mooloolaba is only
50 minutes drive from the heart of Brisbane
City situated on the banks of the Brisbane
River. Offering world-class shopping, restaurants
and accommodation.
Theme Parks
Internationally known
theme parks include: Steve Irwin’s
Aussie World, Seaworld, Dreamworld and Movieworld.
