The Australian Surf Lifeguard Academy offers intensive
27-day course which combines a holiday in one of Australia’s
favourite beachside playgrounds with expertise training
in the rescue and competition components of surf lifesaving.
Whether you are already involved with Surf Lifesaving,
or if you just have a passion and enthusiasm for the
beach and surf – then this course is the perfect
way to make friends, enjoy and holiday and attain a
strong understanding and a level of expertise in Australian
surf lifesaving skills and the achievement of two crucial
internationally acknowledged surf lifesaving awards
(accredited through Surf Lifesaving Australia).
- Prepare for and obtain your Community Bronze Medallion
Award
- Study and obtain your Senior First Aid certificate
- Master rescue craft techniques including Skis, Malibu
Boards and Surf Boats
- Learn competition tips on Skis, Malibu Boards and
Surf Boats
- Educational sessions on diet/nutrition, motivation,
fitness and yoga.
